World Athletics Level 1 Course
Successfully held at Stadium Tuanku Abdul Rahman from 4 to 12 June 2026, organised by Persatuan Olahraga Negeri Sembilan. A total of 23 participants, predominantly from Negeri Sembilan, successfully completed the five-day course. The programme provided comprehensive training in the fundamentals of athletics coaching, equipping participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to effectively coach athletes across various track and field disciplines.
MA Technical Examination
The MA Technical Examination was conducted simultaneously nationwide on 18 April 2026. In Negeri Sembilan, two examination centres were established: SMK Bahau, which hosted 13 Grade 3 candidates, 4 Grade 2 candidates, and 4 Grade 1 candidates; and IPG Teknik, Enstek, Nilai, which accommodated 252 candidates. The examination was conducted successfully.

Programme Bapa Angkat for sports associations in Negeri Sembilan
Bapa Angkat for PONS is YB Veerapan EXCO Kerajaan Negeri Sembilan.
A meeting with Menteri Besar (MB) of Negeri Sembilan was held on the 11th August 2020 with PONS President, Datuk Wira Mark Ling, Secretary, Mr Anthony Joseph and Technical Chairman, Mr S. Chinetamby. Also present were national Athletes from Negeri Sembilan. A proposal paper for Athletics Development was presented to MB and he agreed to donate RM 10,000 to PONS for training equipment for STAR training Centre. An Incentive of RM 1,000.00 was given by PONS to NS athletes who were present and have represented Malaysia in SEA Games .
